OUR STORY
Where It All Began......
The year was 1998, the country Spain. I was travelling to work, but I knew when I landed that I would need to find a riding stable where I could get my horsey fix. That was when I found a beautiful farm with over 25 Andalusian stallions just waiting to be ridden. It is where my love for this magnificent breed was born and where the dream of one day owning a purebred was fostered. Fast forward 25 years and here we are breeding, training and selling homegrown Andalusians and Lusitano's. Allow me to introduce myself! The photo to your right is me and my stallion Arrow. We've been in each others lives now for 12 years. I purchased Arrow when he was almost two and barely halter broke. Our journey together has been incredible and I wouldn't change any of it for the world. Arrow is brave, kind, intelligent, a super fun ride and extremely trainable! We dabble in dressage, working equitation, moving cattle, trail riding and horse camping. If you are interested in breeding your mare to Arrow we have very high quality (over 85% motility) semen available anytime. Where It All Began......

Come For A Visit, Leave With A Horse.....
There is no doubt that once you arrive here and see how friendly, calm, smart and willing-to-learn our horses are that you will fall in love instantly! This summer my friend Vikki came to visit from Vancouver Island, BC and she fell in love with one of our two year olds. His name is Bolero, no coincidence that we named our business after this guy, well sort of? I fell in love with these amazing horses in part because of the movie Bolero with Bo Derek. So I decided when I started my business this was the name I would use. The beautiful buckskin to the left is fondly named Cowboy. He's was raised from a weanling by us and is one of our rising-star coming 5 year olds! Cowboy is not for sale but has been well started in our amazing program. We are able to expose all of our young horses to all kinds of scenarios here on the Ranch. With over 10,000 acres of private land to explore, we start them by ponying them all over the ranch when they are yearlings. Our horses are perfect for working equitation, dressage, trail riding or whatever your heart desires. All of our horses have an exceptional training foundation in order to get them ready for their next owners. We make sure they are ridden around cattle, in our feedlot, they have been in the mountains, across water, roped off of at branding time, and see a lot of activity with tractors and heavy equipment. These horses are like a beautiful blank canvas, whatever colours you want to add, whatever ideas you had for your canvas can be created though patience, trust and time.

Our Horses In The Show Ring
We are so proud of our buckskin Andalusian gelding "Cowboy"!! He placed in 8 out of 12 classes in the spring of 2023 at the Ranch Horse Revolution Show in Armstrong, BC. It was his first time in a show environment and he was so incredibly brave and full of heart! Below is Krista riding Cowboy in the Ranch Horse Trail class where he placed 2nd in a large group. This breed is known for their bravery, agility and willingness, and because they originate from bull fighting stock makes them the perfect breed for all disciplines!
